For the aspiring professional homeopath. This course is designed to provide introductory training to use homeopathic medicines safely for first aid and uncomplicated chronic conditions. We will discuss the fundamental theory and knowledge necessary to begin applying homeopathy with success. Case examples will be included to bridge academic and clinical applications.
Course Outline:
- Session 1:
- 1 hr – Introduction, allopathic and vitalistic approaches, natural therapeutics
- 1 hr – History of homeopathy, law of similars and basic principles, Q&A
- Session 2:
- 1 hr – Homeopathy basics, mechanisms, acute and chronic healing
- 1 hr – Potency scales, provings, repertory, materia medica, Q&A
- Session 3:
- 1 hr – Current research, common conditions treated with homeopathy, building a home kit
- 1 hr – Case taking, repertorizing, consulting materia medica, Q&A
- Session 4:
- 1 hr – Top 25 remedy review
- 1 hr – Clinical Case discussions, Q&A
