Basic Outline (60 minutes)

Duration: 60 minutes
0–5 min (5 min) – Introduce a clinical case of rheumatoid arthritis to revisit at session’s end.
5–20 min (15 min) – Review common rubrics related to inflammation, swelling, and joint deformity; explore modalities (motion, temperature, time of day) and concomitant emotional states such as frustration or discouragement.
20–40 min (20 min) – Differential materia medica: distinguishing characteristics of key remedies such as Rhus toxicodendron, Bryonia, Causticum, Kalmia, and Ledum; highlight remedy selection for acute flare vs. chronic management.
40–50 min (10 min) – Analyze the initial case through repertory and materia medica correlation.
50–60 min (10 min) – Q&A and discussion.
